Who has a fire burning right now?

Where I live fireplaces are a joke for keeping houses warm. It's been freezing at nights here, and I have a "real" wood stove burning. Wood stoves produce a lot more heat than fireplaces, indeed, a lot of fireplaces suck more cold air into the house than the amount of heat they put out. Fireplaces are just for ambiance. When you're serious about heating your houses with wood, you get a wood stove. I get to utilize mine every day. Whether this is a "benefit" depends on your point of view. :)
