How do I set up a wireless home network to share a dial-up connection using a router?
I just got a laptop computer and I want to share my dial-up connection with my desk top. Both are brand new computers running Windows Vista Home premium. DSL or Highspeed internet isn't available in my area at all as I live in the country. I wanted the laptop so I could move around the house, but am limited due to the dial-up phone cord. I am just wondering how I would set up a wireless home network to share my dial-up connection with my desk top using a router? I know that it can be done, and I know that the speed will be painfull slow, but that doesnt matter. What should I look for in a router? Serious answers only please!
