Sudden attack of virtigo while sitting?

Doubt it was a vascular event like a TIA. There are several causes of vertigo. One, called Meniere's disease, causes attacks of vertigo and hearing loss, ociated with tinnitus (tinea is a fungus) More likely, it is a relatively simple ear problem, but you really should see a good Otolaryngologist now, so you can start treatment if it is Meniere's disease.
