Can we really get kicked out of our apartment for having a dog on a floor that's not dog-friendly?

If your lease does not specifically state you can have a pet in your apartment, you will need to move out. Never ever ever bring a pet into a rented apartment or home without is specifically spelled out in yrou lease (down to the type and number of pets you have) that it is OK.
