If a structural gene has 300 DNA nucleotides,how many amino acids will b used in the protein synthesis process?

There are 3 nucleotides per codon used to incorporate each amino acid: a peptide of 100 amino acids would result. However if you wanted to be very picky, the answer would actually be 99 since the last codon in a sequence is stop.
