Christian protestants they believe they are going to heaven because they believe in christ but ?

they believe the good actions.. how can a protestant to be saved if he or she doesn't do anything good for others? meanwhile the catholicism always teach the salvation by faith and action.. how can be like that? when jesus said if you do this to that person.. it's like you did it me.. this page can be found in matthew.. and he says not everybody who says me Lord Lord.. will go to my Kingdom only who makes the deeds of my Father.. then?
